I'm watching an In Living Color marathon and the opening sketch of the one on now had one of the Wayans brothers (Shawn, I think) playing Chris Rock when he was on SNL, the joke being no one knew who he was. He asked a woman tourist in front of Studio 8H if she recognized him, and she said, "Oh, you're Gumby, right?"
It was Molly Shannon. At least 2 years before she got on SNL.
That just made my day.
