My first appointment is on August 11. I will go through a battery of blood tests and the first ultrasound, so I will post pictures of a fuzzy gray blob that day. ;) I was a little shocked I couldn't get in any earlier, but it all goes back to Medicaid. I was told by Medicaid as long as I showed them I'd applied any OB that accepted it would see me. That used to be the case. Then they changed the Medicaid eligibility requirements (did you know illegal immigrants qualified for Medicaid before July 1? I don't know how I feel about that). So now no doctor will touch a Medicaid patient until they know for sure if they're accepted or not.

Bleh.

*pokes stomach* If you don't stop doing that, you'll wind up with your first spanking before you even lose your tail.

If it's not queasy, it's starving but only lets me eat 2 bites an hour.

I have an appointment at the health department at 8:30 tomorrow morning to get my "official" pregnancy test, apply for WIC (government cheese), and Medicaid. I know I'm going to be doing the little pee dance when I arrive.
