Ryley's with us again. I cuddled her and mrmrmrmr-ed on her fingers (think of what you do when a baby sticks its hand in your mouth) and she smells so sweet and she's so soft and I so want a little one of my own...

Joe, hon, you really need to reappear.

Awwwwww.....

Try to have faith, Hon. It has to be hard, I am sure, but know that he loves you and will communicate the first moment he can.

*huge hugs* Laura, I know all about baby fever. When your best friends are having babies and they live at least a thousand miles away, it sucks. All I could do then was listen to the wonderful stories and look and coo over pictures (I still coo over pictures, but the immediate "I want one!" reaction has worn off a bit) I think having pals with babies that are so far away is almost worse than holding one... You don't get the sensory satisfaction out of it. :p

When you hold one, you get the fresh new baby smells (I'm not talkin' diapers here ;) ) and the little baby noises, and the warm little body snuggled so close to yours... Probably the one of the sweetest things in life is having a baby (or toddler) fall asleep in your arms. They're so trusting that they just totally lose conciousness in your arms... *dopey grin* I want one...

*goes out looking for Mr Right* ;)
