3 1/2 more weeks to goooooooo........

At 35 1/2 weeks, Sue is estimated to be 6 lbs 10 oz, measures a week ahead of date, and I am 1 cm dilated. The doctor I saw yesterday stressed this does not necessarily mean a chance of a pre-due date exit, but if she continues at this rate the odds aren't bad either. They'll discuss it more when I go back next week. All I know is has low as she is and as hard as she's pressing down on my bladder, I better not go past my due date.

Glad to hear you're still doing ok! I'll hope for a relatively quick (not too quick! those are horrible!), and unexciting Labour for you!
Are you ready? Mine all came early (37weeks) and there was a mad unexpected packing of things for hospital etc. With the first one anyway. After that I knew to be ready. ;~P

I didn't realize you were this close...wow. (And can I just say that the discomfort of those last weeks are permanently etched in my memory? Nothing like bending over to give your toddler a bath when your belly is in the way... :P )

If it makes you feel better--I never dilated. Ever. I did efface a little bit with Sy, but not much. Yeah, you could stay at 1 cm for three or four more weeks, but I'd think you've got a shot at going early.

Can't wait to see baby pictures. :D (And let me know if you need anything when the time comes--I'm only an hour away.)
