Side business?

I'm attempting to knit things to sell. Nothing overly fancy, just useful things. Scarves, hats, mittens, socks (the last two when I get some dpns), maybe some dishcloths and hand towels. People need dishcloths and hand towels year round, right? If I actually get this off the ground somewhat, I'll start that knitting blog I've been talking about for real with certain pieces for sale.

Right now, I'm working on a simple K2P2 ribbed scarf about 2 inches wide. It's at 4' now. Only 3' more to go! And I have a black hat that someone asked me to make, but I think they forgot about it. If they still want it it's theirs at the agreed upon price, and if not I'm sure I can sell it to someone else.

Of course, in the beginning this will only serve to feed my knitting habit rather than helping pay the bills. o:)

Next on the Apprentice...

What if their was a knitting challenge? The Donald would have to say, "You're Purled!" Ok, that wasn't funny. I'm not even sure it fit any of the joke criteria. Sorry. But i'm tired and sick and bored. Sue me. So if you want to be successful in this knitting venture, you should come up with a name - something like, "Knit it, Knit it good!" or "Its a small purl after all." I can't help myself. Somebody stop me.
