Delayed but done.

1. If not the flute, then which instrument would appeal to you the most and why?

Bassoon. In woodwind methods it came so naturally for me and I wished I had the time and money to take private lessons on it. It's true appeal is it's difficult and if you're good at it, you have it made.

2. Music soothes the savage beast. So how do you explain Joe? ;)

Soothing music soothes a savage beast. Joe's choice in music is not what most call soothing.

3. If someone handed you full backing to the grad school of your choice, where would you go now that you've had some time to mull it over, and what would your degree be in?

Where I would go would depend on what I was going for, but Ivy League would be nice. I would either go for arts administration, law, or perhaps an MBA (inspired by Ryan's recent thoughts). I briefly considered medicine, but I'm too squeamish for needles and while I was good at chemistry, I hated it.

4. What is your fondest childhood memory, one that you feel might have positively shaped your future? Think hard.

I have to get back to you on this one. Most of what I do remember about shaping my future isn't positive.

5. Which parenting skills do you think you'll incorporate when it comes time to raise your own brood?

Well, I guess patience and remembering that they are kids and not little adults.
