As if you couldn't tell, Ryan came up with my last meme opener. He teased us last week with a one night appearance before heading off to see grandma in Wisconsin, and Monday was his final one nighter before heading back to Ohio. First he and his sister came to see me at Applebee's -- I knew I'd asked to work smoking for a reason. After that we met him and Amanda (one of Ryan's Haywood RT buddies whom I absolutely adore) at Denny's only to find out the kitchen had closed for cleaning 5 minutes before we got there and wouldn't reopen for an hour. After an hour of drinks, soup, dessert (all they were serving) and scandal involving the revival of Gonna-herpa-syphill-aids (a term for someone who's such a whore they have to have multiple diseases) they tell us the kitchen will be ANOTHER hour in opening. So we are forced to abandon Denny's for Ryan's house, swing by Jack in the Box, and watch Shrek 2. Such a disappointment. ;)

I miss my buddy. :(
