Moving headaches already

I'm keeping a list of all the things I have to get accomplished before I move. It's already 2 pages long.


Oy.


Things I have accomplished/found out:

Found out there is no branch of my bank in Alabama. Was replaced on list with "pick a new bank."

I will very likely have to take the driving test to get a Bama license. Did I ever mention it took me 5 times to pass the test here and I have yet to attempt to parallel park my current car? I'm just hoping it passes inspection since we haven't had annual car inspections in SC in about 10 years. *begins extremely premature panic*


Oh, and has anyone had a Yanks sighting? She's disappeared off my radar.

Late night research pays off

I may not have to switch banks after all. SouthTrust and Wachovia are merging. Guess I should've opened that "Important Info for Our Customers" envelope. There's only one SouthTrust here but there's a million in Mobile. So tomorrow I shall go to Wachovia and ask how this can all be worked out to my advantage.
