My mother decided out of nowhere the ceilings HAD to be painted and she HAD to do it or get my father to. I see disaster written on the wall (or ceiling, as it were) and beg her to have Joe do it. Alas! She decided she was up to the task.

I'm housesitting for them as we speak. I needed to hunt for something in the attic. The entrance drops down from the ceiling. Y'all know what I'm talking about, right? Right. So I pull on the cord........

And I immediately call my mother and tell her she's never allowed near a bucket of paint again.

I'm not fixing this one. She can buy an all new Christmas tree and all new decorations as stupid tax.
