Laura, I am crying as I type this. This is why I want to be an OB/GYN, so that I know there is someone there who is loving and caring and overly nice when it's needed. And yes, I will invent a padded, heated speculum. Or else I'll just make sure I leave it sitting in hot water before I use it to heat it up a little.
